I read for about 10mins, more or less, and the peom that i liked the most was,
Dreams
Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.
Langston Hughes
The reason i like this peom is because its telling you an advice inside that peom. Its telling you that dreams that you dream are the stuff that you would want in live, if you dont make them in to reality, and you let that "die" or let them "go", "Life is a broken-winged bird That cannot fly." as in, you would go no where without dreams in life.
I like the way he used light to hide one side of his face and also darken his hand but still be visable. I like the idea of the empty frame like wooden square besides him, it looks like he was being to literal by putting a portrait frame on his portrait shot of himself.
